Ok so, I went to do my daily chore so I wouldn’t have to hear my mother complain again. I turned on the dryer as always and just left it alone. Next thing I realized there was a burning smell coming from the laundry room. It wasn’t like fire burning smell but more electrical. So, I turned off the dryer and unplugged it. I tried to investigate what the issue was. The compartment that stores all the lint was empty so it wasn’t that. about 30 minutes later I decided to call my mom and let her know what’s going on. She told me to call a repair company to come over and take a look. So, I called on All Seasons Appliance Repair in Winnipeg and within the hour we had a technician at our place looking into the situation. Turns out our motor wasn’t any good. I was so annoyed because I knew I would hear it from my mom now that I waited too long to do laundry blah blah. I thought he would have to order the part and come back another day, which meant more money. That was not the case. He went to his vehicle to retrieve the part and within an hour and a half everything was running like new again. Thanks guys! You saved me from an I told you so moment.
